Meet Your Trainer

Delivers Powerful, Practical Solutions

Dr. Aaron Dahlgren

Dr. Aaron Dahlgren

Vice President of Time To Teach!

Aaron’s philosophy about teaching is simple. After 20 years in education, serving in elementary schools, public schools, and many Title I campuses, he knows students will not thrive academically until they feel valued as people. He believes connection comes first. In many of the turnaround schools he has supported, the true catalyst for change was not a new program, but adults building authentic relationships with kids. When students know you genuinely care about them, they work harder and push back less.

Aaron believes educators do not need more theory or trendy initiatives with catchy names. Throughout his career at the classroom, school, and district levels, and in professional development work across the nation and even internationally, he has focused on research based, proven, practical strategies that teachers can implement immediately without abandoning what is already working. He is especially known for his work in classroom management, equipping teachers with tools that create structure, consistency, and respect.

Coming from a family of educators, Aaron understands the complexity of the profession. Teachers wear countless hats every day, and students arrive with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. A one size fits all approach no longer works. He also recognizes the reality that many students come to school lacking the social skills and readiness we wish they had.

While we cannot control what happens outside of school hours, Aaron is committed to helping educators maximize the time they do have with students. Through motivation, humor, practical training, and a deep advocacy for education, he has trained thousands of educators and trainers who have gone on to impact schools across the United States. He remains dedicated to supporting teachers with real strategies that lead to real, positive change for students.
